Why did you want to be a governor?

I have a particular interest in children’s mental health and wanted to support Sheen Mount to continue to develop and provide an outstanding education that places children’s happiness and wellbeing at the heart of everything it does, enabling all children to meet their full potential.

As a clinical psychologist working in a busy NHS child development service, I hope I will have lots to contribute. My work gives me the opportunity to have contact with different schools across London.

What do you do when you are not being a governor?

I’m a mum to two daughters, both of whom have attended Sheen Mount. You’ll often see me rushing about on my bike, and in my free time, I like to meet up with friends or drag the family out for walks in Richmond park!

During your time as a governor, what achievement has made you most proud?

I was on the Sheen Mount survey team, which gave us a wealth of information from children, parents and staff. We hope to repeat another full survey in the coming year.
