Governor Position held |
Co-Opted Governor |
Why did you want to be a Governor?
|
To support the school and to help them develop the children holistically so they can strive to be the best individuals they can be. I also wanted to play a bigger part in the local community, which I believe the school is a major part of. |
Which committee do you sit on? |
I sit on the Teaching and Learning Committee. |
What do you do when you are not being a Governor?
|
I have enjoyed teaching children in the State and Independent Sector in Primary Education for twenty five years. I now work as a SENCo in an Independent School. Alongside this, I enjoy bringing up my two children – both of which have attended Sheen Mount both past and present. |
During your time on the governing body, what achievement has made you most proud?
|
I am now serving my second term as a governor having started the role in 2018. I thoroughly enjoy hearing about all the great work Sheen Mount staff and pupils achieve and enjoy my visits to the school to see all this in action. |
