Why did you want to be a Governor?

Having recently retired from a career in teaching I wanted to utilise my pastoral experience by continuing to work in the education sector. I believe a holistic approach is key to children’s development.

What do you do when you are not being a Governor?

In addition to going to the theatre, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and sit on the committee of my local Women’s Institute. I am looking forward to travelling again now restrictions have been lifted.

During your time on the governing body, what achievement has made you most proud?

As I have only recently been appointed to the role, I hope to share my experience in education to support the excellent work that is already happening at Sheen Mount.
