Why did you want to be a Governor?
|
I am a Sheen Mount parent. Since my children began in nursery, I have appreciated more and more how important a strong start in education is. I want to contribute to that being delivered to all children. |

What do you do when you are not being a Governor?
|
After a long stint working as a broadcaster for the BBC, I am currently on a career break. I have just begun a Foundation Diploma in Art. I try to do as much as I can with my two boys – they are obsessed with aviation so I look at a lot of planes! I’m also a carer for my mother who has complex health needs. |

During your time on the governing body, what achievement has made you most proud?
|
I am extremely proud of the school’s responsiveness to the continuous changes and challenges it faces. Personally, I am proud to contribute however I can and as new Chair I want to help our Board support the school to its fullest extent. |
