Reception have really been getting stuck into their SPACE topic. Last week, we went on a journey into space to look at the stars, planets and the sun. We learnt many facts about the sun and created one for our classroom space stations. We also learnt about the first woman in space, Valentina Tereshkova, and about what it takes to be an astronaut. We thought about what we might pack in our rockets if we went into space. In Maths, we have been learning about circles, triangles and about the numbers 1, 2 and 3. Last week we learnt about Diwali -the festival of light and enjoyed making paper diwa lamps.
