Holidays and Hockney

In the final week before the Easter holidays the Year 6 children have been completing their geography learning about Europe and the Mediterranean by looking at Bologna as a tourist destination.
Our English work has focused on developing our persuasive language as we create a travel guide designed to entice tourists to a specific location. In science we have continued to develop our understanding of light. We have been inspired to produce vibrant landscapes, in the style of David Hockney, in our art lessons. We are all looking forward to the Easter holidays and then our return to the excitement of the summer term!
