Bikeability fortnight

The children in Year 6 have spent the last couple of weeks impressing their Bikeability instructors with their listening and cycling ability as they learn how to keep themselves safe when travelling by bike. We know how keen the children will be to put what they have learnt into practice as they cycle around the local area!
As part of children’s mental health week, we spent some time discussing and reflecting on what we can do to make ourselves more emotionally resilient when we encounter different challenging situations. We also learnt about the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced diet and the benefits of eating a diversity of fruit and vegetables during our “Eat the Rainbow” session with a school nutritionist.
