Over the past two weeks, the children in Year 6 have been learning about financial literacy so that we are better able to manage our money when we are older. Here we are showing off our acting skills while learning about how money first developed as a means of helping people to trade with each other.
In science, we have started our learning about the human circulatory system and in PSHE we have been discussing the importance of sleep in maintaining our physical and emotional wellbeing. We have also begun to rehearse the songs we will be singing in our Year 6 production. Thanks to Mrs Sroka, we also have a better idea about the different careers that might be available to us when we are older and the skills and knowledge we will need to become successful in them. We really appreciate all the visitors who came to school to talk with us about their careers!
