Kick off!
The Year 6 children have made a great start to their final year at Sheen Mount.
They are enjoying reading about the experience of evacuees through our core text - ‘Letters from the Lighthouse’ - in our English lessons. In science, we are learning about how we can classify organisms into the five kingdoms of life. Coming up is our visit to the air raid shelter at St Leonard’s Court. In preparation, we have been learning about the causes of World War II and the effects of the Blitz on everyday life in Britain. And we have all really enjoyed our first PE lessons with Mr Brown.
