Isle of Wight, women's football and watercolour!
It has been another busy week for Year 5! The children performed their Isle of Wight assembly brilliantly on Tuesday. They accurately recounted each day of our trip with great enthusiasm and humour! We have also used our knowledge of non-chronological reports to create a piece on the Isle of Wight and we are looking forward to sharing them with Year 4 next week. In history, we have learnt about the advancements in women's professional football after the ban implemented by the FA from 1921 to 1971. Finally, the children have honed their artistic skills by painting their watercoloured landscapes which look fantastic!
