Calling all film producers...
Year 4 have had a busy week writing play scrips and then acting them out paying attention to the stage directions.
We have been reading the excellent Louis Sacher novel ‘There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom’. It tells the story of Bradley; a trouble maker who never does his homework and picks fights with his class, teachers and parents. We have thought about what advice we would give to Bradley to help him settle down and make friends. This week we learnt about play scripts and their features including how to add in stage directions. We have written a play script for a scene when Bradley visits his councillor, Carla. After we wrote them, we acted them out (as you can see in the photos). As the story continues, we will consider how Bradley’s behaviour changes as he develops trust and friendships with his councillor and children in his class.
