The children have used the chrome books to research Japanese cities and find out more about the geography, climate, history and culture of some of the biggest cities in the country. Our English focus for the week has been non-fiction texts so we have created information leaflets on our selected cities which contain key features of non-fiction texts: sub-headings, bullet points, text boxes and pictures with captions. Finally, in music we have been learning about Taiko drumming.

In case they haven't told you already, do ask your children to explain to you how the digestive system works (maybe not at dinner time).
