Brooklands, alliteration and snowy forest school
Brooklands, alliteration and snowy forest school
Since our last newsletter, we have been on our first school trip to Brooklands Museum! We had so much fun and loved exploring and learning about lots of different transport and how they developed over the years. Thank you to our parents helpers who helped make the day run smoothly. We have also had forest school in the snow! Whilst it was very cold, we built and lit a fire and even had warm apple juice. In English, we have been learning about alliteration and similes. We have been working as hard as Moles, we are as clever as Otters and have been helpful, honest and headstrong Hedgehogs. In Maths we have learnt about measurement and we have measured objects around our classroom. This week we have started a new topic of capacity and have been using lots of know terminology. In science, we have continued our learning about plants and how they grow. In Geography we are learning about the physical features of London. We are looking forward to Arts week next week!
