Poems, Multiplication and Cars

Wow, what a busy half term Year 2 has had.  In English, we have continued to learn about the key features of poetry and the different types of poems, including rhyming and acrostic poems. We finished off our poem topic by writing our own poems all about Sheen Mount. In maths, we have started to look at multiplication and drawing different ways to represent ‘lots of’ and ‘groups of’. To finish our busy half term, we have taken on a D&T project to create our own economic vehicle for driving around London. Finally, well done to Doves class for an amazing assembly, Robins and Owls are to follow after half term. We hope you all have a wonderful and restful break.
