Seasons, Money and Enrichment!

This week in English, Year 2 have written their own Seasons poem. They used a range of poetic features that we have learnt, such as alliteration, onomatopoeia, and similes. In maths, we have been learning about the value of each coin and note, how to pay for things, and how to find and give the correct change. In science, we have learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly and researched another animal's life cycle. We have been very lucky to have an enrichment opportunity by having parents come in and talk about Westminster Abbey and computer programming! Thank you to these parents for offering and giving up their time to teach us about their exciting jobs and to enhance our understanding of current topics.
