Year 2 have been busy inventing  their own story based on the book "Stuck" by Oliver Jeffers. We have been creative and had a lot of fun deciding which Halloween treats would get stuck in the green, tall tree. In Maths we have been learning to spot related facts and work out addition and subtraction number sentences by spotting the related facts. In Art we have finished our collage of Sheen Mount School using our textured paintings for brick work and plants. In Religious Education we have been learning about being thankful and how this relates to Harvest. We performed our Harvest assembly and sadly finished our last lesson on the Fire of London. Did you know that they built wider roads and spaced out the houses more to prevent a fire spreading so quickly ever again?
