We have had a lovely couple of weeks in year 2!

In maths, we have been comparing numbers and deciding which are ‘greater than’ or ‘less than’.  We began with comparing objects and applied this knowledge to numbers, using the symbols <, >, and =. We have also been using number lines to order numbers and estimate where they should go on a number line. 

In English, we have explored our core text ‘Imaginary Fred’ by Oliver Jeffers and created our own imaginary friends. We had lots of fun deciding what they might look like and even what super power they could have!

In science, we have been working together to explore how we can group things. We used objects from the classroom and discussed the different ways they could be grouped.

In history, we sequenced events from the Great Fire of London and put these into a time line.
