Year 2 have been absolute superstars this week whilst all their class teachers have been unwell! They have worked hard at school, and at home, and have continued with their brilliant learning. This week Year 2 have linked Science and English to research and write about the incredible life cycle of a butterfly. First we did some research, then we made a plan and finally wrote up the 4 stages using sentences openers, conjunctions and interesting facts. We are excited to hopefully be getting some caterpillars for our classrooms! In art, we have used our sketching and mark making skills to sketch some animals. We have continued to think about our feelings and look after our well-being by thinking about what makes us happy and creating our 'jars of positivity' to help us when we have unhelpful thoughts or when we are feeling in the blue zone.
