Kensuke's Kindgom
What a brilliant start to the term you’ve all had! It’s been amazing to see the enthusiasm you’ve brought into the classroom, especially for our new class book. Everyone is totally hooked on Michael’s adventures across the globe!
Our book has been a fantastic way to link together so many of our subjects this term. In geography, we’ve been exploring Japan, while in art, we’ve been learning about shades of blossom to create beautiful Japanese-inspired artwork. In D&T, we’ve had great fun researching and designing our own sushi creations!
We’re all looking forward to tying our learning together on Japan Day on February 11th. It’s going to be an exciting celebration of everything we’ve learned, and we’ll be making plenty of noise during our Taiko drumming workshop — good thing we’ve been learning all about sound waves in science!
Let’s keep up the fantastic work, Year 4!
