The children have been developing their writing skills in English where they are using formal language to draft a fact sheet about an animal of their choice, inspired by our shared writing on the yellow spotted lizard. In science, they are really enjoying learning about fossils and what they can tell us about the past and our geography lessons have helped us to understand where our food comes from. Once again, the Year 6 children really impressed Mr Holmes and Mrs O’Brien in their role as tour guides when potential new parents came to have a look around our school – our children showed themselves to be confident, articulate and well informed!
