Reception have continued their topic of All About Me and have learnt about real life superheroes! We read the book 'A superhero like you' and thought about the jobs that different people do that help us and the wider community. We have learnt about the job of a vet, doctor, nurse, teacher, firefighter, recycling collectors and mechanics. We dressed up and role-played different roles and had great fun. We enjoyed writing letters and posting them. We have also started our maths lessons and have learnt about matching and sorting. We sorted objects by different criteria and enjoyed sorting animals. We are doing brilliantly with our phonics and have learnt so many sounds!
