Year 2 have settled amazingly well into school life and the new year group. This week we have begun our new text in literacy "The day the crayons quit" and we have been writing a character description for one of the crayons. In maths we have been revising partitioning and breaking up numbers up to 100 into tens and ones. In history we have begun learning about the Fire of London and looked at the sequence of events that happened over 5 days. In Art we have begin a new module which is a multi media one combining the skills of painting and collage. Finally we have been getting to know our new class room and class teacher. It has been busy but also lots of fun!
