This week, the reception children learnt how to create and use maps. We looked at different types of maps and used an aerial map to explore our playground. The children then learnt to describe places and object positions, which helped them represent a map by creating a model. They built a city, adding roads, train tracks, and a farm. We also drew our own maps, using our models to help us!
