Year 2 have been very busy for the last few weeks. 

In D&T, we designed, made and evaluated moving vehicles using shoeboxes. The children were so creative and vehicles from fire trucks to ice cream vans were made. 

In English, we have started enjoying the story of Mary Poppins and the children are writing letters advertising for what their 'ideal nanny' would be. 

In maths, having learned about multiplication, we have moved on to division. The children are using sharing circles, mental methods and number lines to divide.

In science we enjoyed making posters for how to look after a pet and this week begin our new topic of plants. 

What a lovely start back after half term!
