This week, we have been using The Lost Words as our stimulation to create kennings, incantation and diamond incantation poems. We have used our figurative language, metaphors, personification and alliteration. We have also begun our history unit learning about how life has changed in Britain since the 20th century. The children have been interested to find out how their leisure time would have been different 100 years ago. We've also used our colour mixing skills to create watercoloured images of trees which were fantastic!
