Year 2 have continued looking at stories by Anthony Browne and have worked on predicting, inference and making links. We read 'In to the forest' and enjoyed exploring all the amazing pictures that had clues about other fairy tales. Then we read 'The Tunnel' and made predictions about what might happen. We got a chance to write freely and creatively using the story as a starting point, and it was fantastic. In history, we continued looking at the Victorians and enjoyed a very simple but effective activity of scrap booking. Last but not least, all three classes had their assemblies this week, and they were an amazing showcase of all the wonderful learning that has taken place. All the children were fantastic and are keen to share the assembly with their family at home, so please look on the Y2 Google Classroom.
